MODERN, GREEN-FRIENDLY INFRASTRUCTURE WITH AN ULTRA-FAST NETWORK

Tukwila Data Center

Coloinseattle Tukwila data center is located at 12201 Tukwila International Blvd, inside the Sabey Technology Campus Facility which is the largest Private Internet Wholesale Datacenter provider in North America to date. Being located in this technology campus, we are sharing the benefits of having Robust power availability and high numbers of fiber interconnectivity that are shared with our datacenter neighbors. We are on the same campus as companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, Providence Hospital, Chase Manhattan, University of Washington, King County and the Department of Homeland Security.

Our datacenter building is located near Seattle/Tacoma International Airport and outside of the Seattle fault zone and liquefaction area. Our building is located on top of a hill, far above highway 99 and poses little or no risk of flooding. The building is also a Tier3+ building and rated to Seismic Zone 3 specifications. Our first phase of the data center buildout involves approximately 8,000 squarefeet of space and 1+ Megawatt of power from Seattle City Light. Our plan is to provide up to 250+ tons of cooling in our facility with the option of having In-row coolings for High-Density Rack configuration. We have also deployed multiple high efficient UPS infrastructure that provides customers with diverse power interconnect from different UPS systems.

Coloseattle is a carrier-neutral facility and customers are welcome to work directly with their preferred upstream providers for direct transit and transport interconnects. Coloinseattle Meet-Me-Room (MMR) facility inside our datacenter allows for easy interconnect with multiple Tier-1 Internet providers. We also have the ability to provide 1Gbps or 10Gbps transport between our datacenter and the Seattle Westin Building MMR, allowing our clients to directly peer with the wide array of Internet providers and large corporations who already have a presence in one of the largest MMR facility on the West Coast of the United States. For customers who don’t already have a relationship with bandwidth providers, Coloinseattle works with Wowrack (AS Number: 23033) to take advantage of their diverse network connectivities that comprise multiple 10Gigabit and multiple gigabit transit interconnects.

Coloinseattle is offering wide arrays of rack configurations to our tenants, starting with 1/4 cabinet, full 42U cabinets, to private cages.

Los Angeles Data Center

Data Center Infrastructure

We offer complete redundancy in power, HVAC, Pre-Action, fire suppression (FM-200), network connectivity and security, incorporating raised flooring (DC1 & DC3), dual power grids, UPS battery backup power and diesel generators.

Data Center Security

Our data centers are continuously monitored via video surveillance cameras and 24-hour on-site security personnel with the use of sophisticated two-tier access control systems.

Data Center Power

DC1 and DC2 available 2(N+1) power is provided via two active power feeds which are backed up by diesel generators. One feed is available from TWO UPS systems which are configured in parallel redundant mode and a second feed can be obtained from a third independent UPS which also provides divergent power to your equipment if requested. Every outlet is connected to a smart PDU to minimize downtime due to over utilization and provides remote reboot capability for servers without built in IPMI.

  • Datacenter 2: 110V 20A Circuits.
  • Datacenter One Wilshire: 208V/220V 5A Metered 10A Metered 20A Circuits.
  • Datacenter 530 NAC: 208V/220V 5A Metered 10A Metered 20A Circuits.
  • Datacenter 4: 208/220V 5A Metered, 10A, 20A Circuits.

Data Center Cooling

Both data centers DC1 and DC2 employ a redundant set of 11 HVAC units which are controlled by software. One set of HVAC units (primary set) utilizes building chilled water and the other (secondary set) utilizes our own dedicated chillers which are located on the side of the building and are independent of the building’s chilled water supply. Additionally, air from the top of the building is fed to the space when temperature at the top of the high-rise is lower than ambient air temperature inside the space. DC4, our newest data center to go online, offers new Libert CW cooling systems. Four 20 Ton units and two 10 Ton units cool this data center combined with hot air exhaust. If redundancy is required, a stackable chiller dedicated to this suite is able to benefit from the building’s primary chilled water bypass in case of failure.

Data Center Network

The location uses diverse conduit paths to many other carrier buildings in downtown Los Angeles. Redundant dark fiber between each connected building and divergent path to many of the carrier buildings ensures unsurpassed network reliability at this location.
